Derek Poff

Derek joined Camrett as a full-time employee in 2006 after earning his degree from Virginia Tech, having previously worked part-time at the company’s Newbern Road facility while completing his studies. Throughout his career with Camrett, he has gained extensive experience across a variety of operations, including warehousing, repackaging, transportation, sequencing, and customer-specific logistics solutions.

Derek has held leadership roles supporting operations at multiple Camrett facilities and customer locations, including Gatorade repack operations, automotive sequencing programs, and transportation dispatch operations in several markets. Prior to his current role, he served as General Manager of Camrett’s Riverbend facility, overseeing complex logistics and manufacturing support operations for customers such as Volvo and Mack Trucks.

As Director of Operations, Derek provides strategic leadership for Camrett’s eastern locations, focusing on operational excellence, customer satisfaction, workforce development, and continuous improvement initiatives that support the company’s growth and long-term success.
