Collin Peel
Founder and CEO of Camrett Logistics.
Collin, started his career working on the docks at Thurston Motor Lines while
attending Old Dominion University, where he obtained a bachelors degree in
Marketing Management with a concentration in International and Finance. Upon
graduation from ODU he worked with Thurston in various positions from Marketing
Manager to Terminal Sales Manager in Roanoke VA. He furthered his career with
Yellow Freight Systems Serving as a Terminal Manager for 10 plus years before
starting Camrett. He is an active community leader serving on boards such as
Chamber of Commerce, Wytheville Golf Club, Wythe Bland Community Foundations,
VA Tech Community Outreach Program, X Tek, First National Bank along with
national organizations such as the South Eastern Warehouseman's Association,
TEANA, and the IWLAIC.
Mitch Anders
Vice President of Business Development and Controller of Camrett Companies
Mitch joined Camrett in 2001, after a nine year service, in various roles, which
evolved into the Cost Accounting and Inventory Controller Manager, to Donnkenny
Apparel in Wytheville, VA. Mitch holds a bachelors degree in Accounting from
Radford University and an Associates degree in Business Administration from
Wytheville Community College. Along with continuing the responsibilities in
accounting, human resources and technology for the Camrett Companies, he has
served a year as General Manager of the transportation division and now assumes
the additional responsibilities of business development. An avid supporter of
local community efforts, Mitch has involved himself with local boards of Chamber
of Commerce, United Way, and Rotary International and works diligently to
support the local education and athletic outreach programs of Wythe County
Foundation for Excellence and Wytheville Recreation Department in various
capacities. Mitch also designates time and effort to the International Warehouse
and Logistics Association Insurance Company as vice-chairman of the Finance
Committee and as a member of the National Accounting and Finance Council of
the American Trucking Association. Mitch is also a basketball official serving
associations such as the Old Dominion Athletic Conference, Appalachian Athletic
Conference and Virginia High School League.
Steve Willis
Vice President & General Manager
Steve is an honors graduate of James Madison University. His major was Business
Management with a minor in Economics. Steve was recruited out of JMU by Volvo
Trucks in Dublin, VA. Steve started in Purchasing for Volvo, but over the next
18 years held positions of Production Supervisor-Final Assembly, Material
Handling Superintendent, Material Planning Manager, Expansion Project Manager,
IT Manager, and Logistics Manager. Volvo sent Steve all over the US & Europe
to assist with warehouse layout, warehouse operations, and fork lift
purchasing. Steve joined the Camrett Team in 2002. Steve is an active supporter
of children's activities in Wytheville and is a member of such warehouse
organizations as WERC (Warehouse Education & Resource Council) and IWLA
(International Warehouse & Logistics Association).
